I bought this mainly for the ability to make single serve smoothies and milkshakes and because it offers replacement blades should one crack. It is nice to have two seperate blades so you don't have to wash one to make another. It does not blend frozen fruit as well as my Back to Basics did and leaves chunks. It is also louder.
