I'm in the market for a new blender. I wanted something powerful enough to pulverize ice. Also, I wanted something I wouldn't have to turn off, stir, then turn back on to get the ice crushed and the smoothie, well, smooth.
This blender did not pulverize the ice, and after some constant on/off stirring, the smoothie finally got liquidized. However, the top remains did not get sucked to the bottom of the blender.
Honestly, I only used it for the one smoothie and I plan on returning it today. It may be great for other things, but for smoothies it is not.Get more detail about Oster 6831 Core 10-Speed Blender, Red.
