None of the metal parts are included, so you'll have to recover them from your old blender (if it's a replacement), and get the proper tools to remove them from one and install them in the other. Be careful, the blades are very sharp. It doesn't come with a top, either. The glass carafe itself is the same as the original as far as I can tell.
