Online shopping for Blenders

We've used this combined blender/food processor consistently for smoothies, making spreads and dips for about 7 years with no problem. We used the food processor less frequently because the bowl is small, only about 3 cups, so we never developed the dependency on it, we just hand grated and used our mandolin.When we did use it to process, we made nut/seed spreads, dips, and things like lentil, sunflower seed burgers, it worked well. But we got tired of needing to process in small batches. Now that we have both a Vitamix blender and a new larger food processor we're giving this one away, and we're sorry to see it go. It is so well made, cleverly assembled, it covers so many tasks, slicing, shredding, chopping. We took the blender on trips because it is very light weight, and it allowed us to make morning smoothies on the road. Probably the only reason we're giving it 4 stars is that it is noisy, and the food processor is at least a cup too small. I'm sorry to read that the blender broke so often for other users.
